I'm not gonna lie and say tile is the only floor covering that can work for your home. I will tell you this though. My mom installed LVP floors in her home in 2019 and I can see the wear on them. They are fine, but they don't look new now. I tried to talk her into tile. "It will look new for 20 years" I said. As it stands, she will probably have to replace her floors in another 5 years. Meanwhile, somewhere out there is a home, built in the 60's, with a tile floor that looks brand new. Tile is the most durable choice for a surface that gets walked on all day. It is non-porous, doesn't stain, and it doesn't move, separate or warp like many snap-together floor products often do. These days, the options for different looks and styles have expanded to include tile that looks like woodgrain, marble, pebbles, bricks and more. Whatever your style, there is a durable tile that can achieve the look. However, if you have decided that a Laminate or LVP product is right for your remodeling needs, I can install it for you. At Creative Surfaces Tile, we specialize in tile and other types of hard flooring, so give me a call and we will discuss your flooring options.
